LONDON.', the underside marked '2 3/4" SHELL' and with front sling swivel, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, stepped treble-grip action with hidden third bite, side-clips, automatic safety, plain action retaining traces of original colour-hardening and engraved 'W. & C. SCOTT & SON' to the sides, the triggerguard tang with the Scott castle trade mark, 15 1/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock including 1 3/4in. wooden extension, rear sling swivel removed, weight 7lb. 4oz.
